Verify and run

Linux

  1. Download the Linux ZIP and SHA256SUMS to the same folder. Open a terminal there and check: sha256sum --ignore-missing -c SHA256SUMS The Linux package must show OK. Do not run it if the checksum differs.
  2. On Debian/Ubuntu install the required libraries: sudo apt install libegl1 libgl1 libxcb1 libxcb-cursor0 libxcb-icccm4 libxcb-image0 libxcb-keysyms1 libxcb-render-util0 libxcb-shape0 libxcb-util1 libxcb-xkb1 libxkbcommon-x11-0 libwayland-client0 libwayland-cursor0 libwayland-egl1 On Fedora: sudo dnf install libglvnd-egl libglvnd-glx libxcb xcb-util xcb-util-cursor xcb-util-image xcb-util-keysyms xcb-util-renderutil xcb-util-wm libxkbcommon-x11 libwayland-client libwayland-cursor libwayland-egl On a regular GNOME or KDE desktop most of these are already installed; the one most often missing is libxcb-cursor0 (Debian/Ubuntu) or xcb-util-cursor (Fedora).
  3. Extract the ZIP and run from the extracted folder: unzip s3flow-linux.zip chmod +x s3flow ./s3flow

Windows

  1. Download the Windows ZIP and SHA256SUMS to the same folder. Open PowerShell there and check: Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 .\s3flow-windows.zip | Format-List Compare the full hash with the Windows value on this page or in SHA256SUMS; letter case does not matter. Do not run it if the checksum differs.
  2. Use “Extract all…” to extract the ZIP, then open s3flow.exe.
  3. If SmartScreen appears, continue only after checking the source and checksum. The beta application is unsigned.
